FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Below are the frequently asked questions designed to offer information regarding my general business practices, products available, how to select and purchase fine art prints through this website, and other common questions about Amber Louise Photography and fine art prints.

If you have a question that is not answered below, please feel free to reach out to me personally via email. I enjoy speaking with collectors of my work and I would be happy to help any way I can.
As an entrepreneur and self-employed photographer, I don’t keep typical brick and mortar business hours. I love the flexibility of not being tied to a computer and office, but free to get out into the world and photograph the unscripted beauty around us!

But I carry my phone with me almost everywhere I go, so I do check in with email and orders multiple times a day Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. And I try to always respond as quickly as possible to any questions asked.

Sometimes this might be delayed if I am out on a photography adventure capturing a new batch of fine art prints as internet/cell service is often spotty on these adventures.

Weekends are usually reserved for family time and worship.
I only offer my fine art prints in two formats at this time, simply because I want you to see my prints on mediums that can do the image justice in quality.

I have found TruLife Acrylic and ChromaLuxe to be two of the highest quality print mediums, that can remain vivid and beautiful without signs of deterioration over time.

Canvas and regular photographic paper can fade, tear, and wear over the years and lose the vibrance of the image. Regular Acrylic prints scratch easily and are difficult to clean/maintain. You are investing a lot into your artwork. You deserve it to last for decades.

TruLife Acrylic and Chromaluxe Metal are the best for displaying, easy maintenance, easy to clean, most durable, and offer the most vivid results of the image for an almost 3-dimensional effect. With a lifespan of 65+ and 100+ years respectively, it is a no brainer that these are the mediums you deserve for your luxury fine art prints.

The answer is simple.

Chromaluxe Metal prints are printed directly onto metal sheets using special ink that infuses with the metal for vivid color, depth, and luminosity. Each print comes with a floating mount system so it is ready to hang.

TruLife Acrylic Prints are a multi-step printing and face mounting process of multiple layers to completely encapsulate your artwork for long life, endurance and true-to-life 3 dimensional appearance. This process uses Trulife® acrylic glass, optically clear adhesive, luxury fine art paper, archival adhesive layer, clear acrylic backer, and a floating mount system so your print comes ready to hang.

Each process is unique and offers different benefits. Not all printing of metal and acrylic prints is equal. That is why I only use the best printers with the most strict printing standards to ensure quality, and longevity in our prints.

It is also why I only offer Chromaluxe for our metal prints and only TruLife for our acrylic prints. Other metal and acrylic print mediums are subpar and the quality does not meet my standards.

TruLife™ ensures the brilliant colors truly stand out giving your artwork a true-to-life almost 3-dimensional appearance that other acrylic products simply can’t match.

Features of TruLife Acrylic Prints:

  • Anti-reflective coating subdues reflection and glare
  • Archival rated HD photo print has 99% UV protection
  • Lightweight yet abrasion and shatter-resistant
  • Long-lasting anti-static protection reduces dust
  • Long-lasting archival quality, up to 100+ years indoors

The Difference of TruLife Acrylic Prints

Each photographic print (using only the highest quality True Photographic Papers) is encapsulated between a crystal clear acrylic base layer and museum-grade Trulife® acrylic glass. TruLife® is a crystal clear, scratch-resistant, and non-reflective acrylic glass that allows exacting detail and vibrancy to shine through without distraction. This masterly crafted work of art is now thoroughly isolated from all elemental damage.

This mounted fine art print is then finished with a recessed float mount on the reverse, creating a ready to hang piece of unrivaled quality and exquisite beauty. Each piece is crafted by hand, inspected, and polished leaving a lasting brilliance and shine with no detail overlooked.

Each print comes 100% museum quality finished and ready to hang.

Composition of TruLife Acrylic Print:

  • FujiFlex Crystal Archive Paper
  • 1/8” TruLife Acrylic,
  • White Dibond Encapsulation
  • Black Aluminum Museum-Back
  • Professional Dibond metal encapsulation finish
  • Black powder-coated aluminum museum-back frame
  • Z-clip for easy hanging

Our ChromaLuxe™ metal prints are created by using a high-heat technology to fuse your image into the aluminum metal for incredible visual depth and luminosity.

The use of dye-sublimation (infusing dyes directly into the metal print) provides results that are outstandingly clear, vibrant, and well preserved for years to come. Printing images directly onto a surface holds a higher risk of unwanted scratching. The dye sublimation process of infusing dyes directly into the coating provides permanent protection for your artwork.

Benefits of Chromaluxe Metal Prints

  • Long-lasting archival quality, up to 65+ years indoors
  • Extremely lightweight with unmatched durability
  • Scratch, fade, fire, and water resistant
  • Custom sizing is available up to 8 feet
  • Unsurpassed color brilliance and vibrancy
  • An easy-to-clean substrate, ChromaLuxe is the premium choice for hospitals and healthcare facilities, but also enjoyed in homes, hotels, and businesses alike.

ChromaLuxe metal prints can be cleaned with any all-purpose cleaner and wiped with a cloth. Easy cleaning allows for your high-end artwork to retain its shine, hassle-free.

ChromaLuxe Metal prints are great for those that love collecting art, but aren’t ready to invest at the higher price of museum quality just yet. These metal prints are often found in homes, businesses, waiting rooms, hotels, hospitals, and more.

TruLife Acrylic Prints are usually for those that want the best that will last. These are the perfect print medium for high-end businesses, interior designers, fine art connoisseurs, art collectors, museums, or anyone who simply wants the highest quality vivid image possible that will last a lifetime.

Absolutely! If you see an image in our gallery that isn’t currently listed in our shop simply contact me! Let me know which image you would like, its size and print format, and we will discuss particulars. Often times, I just simply haven’t had the time to get it listed in the store yet.

There are 2 exceptions.

1: Limited Edition Prints. These are just as they sound – limited edition. If all scheduled prints of the limited edition print are sold, that is it. No more prints can be printed, so it is removed from the store.

2: Low Quality Digital File. It doesn’t happen very often, but sometimes technical glitches happen. There have been a few times where something just doesn’t work correctly with the gear and the digital file doesn’t turn out to the high standard I require for printing. These images often look great on a small digital device screen, but the quality of the resolution is such that it would turn out pixelated or blurry once printed.
I do offer custom sizes, including creative cropping to your available space. While some requests would negatively impact the visual quality of the print, I am happy to discuss your needs and work with you to find the perfect solution.

Delivery will depend on the type of print you order and where it is being delivered.

TruLife Acrylic Prints have several extra steps than a standard print, and are hand inspected each step of the process for quality assurance. The average time for these prints is between 14-22 days. We always try to have your artwork arrive as quickly as possible while still maintaining our quality standards.

Chromaluxe Metal Prints are typically processed, printed, and shipped within 7-14 days of receipt.

Limited Edition Prints take longer to ship, as these items are special ordered, hand signed, documents of authenticity created and then packaged for delivery. Please allow 14-25 days for Metal Prints and 22-30 days for TruLife Acrylic Prints to arrive.

**Please note that ground shipping industry standard is 5-7 business days for shipping after an item is printed, packaged, and shipped. Please expect delays around the holidays**

Sometimes there can be delays due to unforeseen circumstances outside of our control such as weather, postal delays from the shipping carrier, pandemic shut downs/delays, etc. But we do all in our power to ensure each order is processed quickly. We know you are excited about your new fine art print, and we are excited for you to receive and love your new artwork!
I work tirelessly to ensure the artwork I produce is visually superior to the digital thumbnails representing it on this site.

That being said, the artwork sold on this website is made to order and is not eligible for return except under extraordinary circumstances.
